This 20ft open top shipping container replaces the standard steel roof with a weatherproof tarpaulin stretched over removable steel bows, giving you crane access from above for cargo that's too tall, too heavy, or too awkward to load through the door — pipes, steel bars, cabling, mineral ore, mining equipment, logs, recyclables, or oversized construction materials. The door header bar swings open or removes entirely as well, so over-height loads can also go in from the front. Built from Corten steel with a wooden floor and galvanized locking hardware, the container includes lashing rings for securing cargo in transit. Tare weight is approximately 5,182 lbs (2,350 kg), maximum payload is about 62,027 lbs (28,130 kg), and cubic capacity runs roughly 1,147 cubic feet (32.5 m³). Internal dimensions are about 19'3" long x 7'7" wide x 7'8" high, with a 7'7" x 7'4" door opening and a 7'3" x 17'10" roof opening. It's CSC approved for international freight use.
