This 40ft high cube open top shipping container replaces the standard steel roof with a removable, TIR-approved PVC tarpaulin supported by removable roof bows, so it can be loaded from above by crane — a practical solution for over-height or bulky cargo that won't fit through a standard container's end doors. The door header above the cargo doors also swings open or detaches, giving you a second loading option: sliding oversized items straight in through the doors once the header is out of the way. Typical cargo includes machinery and bulk materials such as grain, wood chips, or ore and rock. Construction is Corten steel with a hardwood or plywood floor rated to a 7,200kg floor-strength test, galvanized locking hardware, and heavy-duty lashing rings built into the floor or bottom side rail for securing loads. Attachable sealing and bow devices are included with the tarpaulin system. The container is ISO certified and CSC plated for road, rail, and sea transport, and a removable hard-top roof is available as an alternative to the tarpaulin on request. As a high cube unit, it stands taller than a standard open top container to give extra loading clearance. It measures 12,192mm long x 2,438mm wide x 2,896mm tall externally, with a door opening roughly 2,340mm wide x 2,280mm tall and about 75.1 cubic meters of capacity. Tare weight is 4,260kg, with a maximum payload of 26,220kg and a maximum gross weight of 30,480kg.
