Full Description

This is a Lubbock 10,400-gallon NH3 (anhydrous ammonia) transport trailer, built to MC331 specification. It's equipped with a Blackmer pump and a tank volume gauge, and rated for a working pressure of 265 psi. The tank has an overall length of approximately 46 feet 3 inches and an 84.8-inch outside diameter, with a shell thickness of .401 inches and a head thickness of .250 inches. It rides on a tandem axle with spring suspension, 11R24.5 tires, and aluminum rims and fenders, and carries National Board registration #806. NH3 transport trailers of this type are used to move anhydrous ammonia — most commonly as an agricultural fertilizer, though it also sees use in chemical and petrochemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, paper mills, petroleum refining, and utility operations. Vessels of this class are built and inspected in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, and NH3 storage and transport equipment is regulated federally under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.111.

Common Questions

How does the deposit and reservation process work?

A refundable deposit of up to $1,000 (or the item's full price if it's lower) holds this unit and locks the quoted price for 48–72 hours while we confirm availability and arrange delivery. If your order doesn't move forward, the deposit is fully refunded.

Do you deliver, and does it cost extra?

Yes, we deliver nationwide. Delivery is coordinated after reservation and quoted based on your location and the unit's size, so it isn't included in the listed price.

What's your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping and any related costs are the customer's responsibility.

Can I write this purchase off as a business expense?

Businesses may qualify to deduct the full purchase price in the year it's placed in service under Section 179, rather than depreciating it over several years. Rules and limits vary, so this isn't tax advice — talk to your accountant about your specific situation.
