1 / 1CAT Material Handlers
CAT material handlers, including the track-mounted MH3250 with a spacious, ergonomic cab, from Caterpillar's 300-plus-machine equipment lineup.
Full Description
Cat® material handlers are heavy equipment designed to move materials — scrap metal, recycled materials, logs, and similar loads — quickly and efficiently at scrap yards, transfer stations, port operations, and similar sites. Continuous top- and side-plate construction through the boom and stick gives the machines the strength needed for demanding cycles, and they accept a range of interchangeable attachments, including grapples, clamshell buckets, and magnets, to match the material being handled. An auto-reversing cooling fan periodically reverses airflow to purge debris and keep the machine running efficiently, independent outrigger controls help keep the machine level on uneven terrain, and an illuminated skylight combined with a rear camera monitor improve operator visibility and safety. The lineup includes both track and wheel configurations across a range of sizes. Track models include the MH3250 (Cat C9.3B engine, approximately 107,700 lb operating weight, 52.5 ft maximum reach) and the MH3260 (Cat C13 engine, approximately 133,200 lb operating weight, 59.1 ft maximum reach), both of which reduce CO2 emissions by roughly a third versus their prior-generation equivalents and offer up to 20% lower operating costs through extended maintenance intervals. Wheel models include the MH3040 (Cat C7.1 engine, approximately 84,940 lb operating weight, 50.8 ft maximum reach), the MH3022 (Cat C4.4 engine, approximately 54,000 lb maximum operating weight, 33.8 ft maximum reach), the MH3024 (Cat C4.4 engine, approximately 59,100 lb maximum operating weight, 39.4 ft maximum reach), and the MH3026 (Cat C7.1 engine, approximately 64,375 lb maximum operating weight, up to 42.7 ft maximum reach with up to 15% more swing torque than its predecessor). Several of the wheel models also include factory-standard technology such as 2D E-fence and payload monitoring, along with joystick steering for operator comfort. Common Questions
How does the deposit and reservation process work?
A refundable deposit of up to $1,000 (or the item's full price if it's lower) holds this unit and locks the quoted price for 48–72 hours while we confirm availability and arrange delivery. If your order doesn't move forward, the deposit is fully refunded.
Do you deliver, and does it cost extra?
Yes, we deliver nationwide. Delivery is coordinated after reservation and quoted based on your location and the unit's size, so it isn't included in the listed price.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping and any related costs are the customer's responsibility.
Can I write this purchase off as a business expense?
Businesses may qualify to deduct the full purchase price in the year it's placed in service under Section 179, rather than depreciating it over several years. Rules and limits vary, so this isn't tax advice — talk to your accountant about your specific situation.
