Carrier Clip-On Generator 69RG15-130W-05 U.S. EPS Tier 4: Series 5

This is a Carrier Transicold PowerLINE® 69RG15-130W-05 clip-on generator set, part of Carrier's Series 5 lineup built to the legacy US EPA Tier 4 Interim (Tier 4i) emissions standard — intended for markets outside the United States where that standard meets or exceeds local requirements. It clips onto the header rail of a properly equipped ISO reefer container using a pin-mounting bracket, with a self-aligning ratcheted clamp mount available as an alternative, and it sits in front of the refrigeration unit's upper face without blocking access to the control box. At its core is a 2.2-liter V2203-DI direct-injection diesel engine rated at 23.9 kW (32 HP), paired with a 15 kW field-wound generator that produces a continuous 460V, three-phase, 60 Hz output (18.75 kVA). The engine uses an electronic governor for stable voltage output, and the generator's internally excited, self-regulated design keeps all electrical components enclosed and resistant to moisture and salt. An integral 130-gallon (492-liter) fuel tank is built into the all-steel frame, and the optional FuelWise™ two-speed system can cut fuel consumption by up to 28% by running the engine at a lower speed when full cooling load isn't needed. Other standard features include a full-flow spin-on oil filter with internal bypass filtration, an integral fuel filter with water separator, a fuel heater, an external in-line fuel strainer with a clear inspection bowl, a high-efficiency dry-element air cleaner (with an oil-bath option), a self-tensioning Poly-V belt, a stainless steel exhaust, an E-coat tube-and-fin radiator, and a 12V DC maintenance-free battery with a solid-state charger. Safety stop controls cover low oil pressure and high water temperature, and a large aluminum service access door with a self-locking, quick-release latch simplifies maintenance. Forklift pockets are extended and reinforced against fork tine damage, and the frame and sheet metal are powder-coated for corrosion resistance. The unit is rated to operate across a wide ambient range — structurally from -40°C to +52°C (-40°F to +125°F), starting from -26°C to +52°C (-15°F to +125°F), and running continuously from -40°C to +52°C (-40°F to +125°F) — delivering a full 15 kW to power an ISO reefer container. It weighs approximately 830 kg (1,830 lb) less fuel, and it's suitable for both ISO and DNV 2.7-1 reefer containers. Available in New and Used condition.
