Full Description

Also known as a reefer container, the 20ft Refrigerated Shipping Container is a standard-sized ISO cold-storage unit built for the transportation and storage of temperature-controlled goods — food and beverages, flowers, pharmaceuticals, and similar cargo. It runs on a Thermo King Magnum Plus refrigeration unit with a digital scroll compressor with aluminized coating, holding a working range of -40°C to +30°C on 460-volt, 3-phase, 30-amp power. The unit uses R452A refrigerant. Construction is a new 20ft ISO reefer container body with stainless steel (MGSS) outer cladding, a T-grid floor, and lockable double doors. The interior is finished in stainless steel and aluminum, which keeps it easy to clean and suitable for food storage. Four automatic, self-closing floor drains (two front, two rear) and four lashing bars (two per side) come standard, along with forklift pockets spaced 80 inches center-to-center. Additional standard features include a panic alarm with exterior siren and strobe light, an interior aluminum scuff liner, an aluminum flat floor, a heavy-duty sliding door curtain to help hold temperature, a safety door that can be opened from inside, and interior lighting with a light switch. Exterior dimensions run 20'L x 8'W x 8'6"H, with an interior of 17'10"L x 7'6"W x 7'5"H and a door opening of 7'6"W x 7'5"H. The unit weighs approximately 6,190 lbs. Every unit carries a minimum 6-month CSC plate for export with major shipping lines and undergoes an industry-standard PTI check on the engine before it ships. Available in New (One-Trip, shipped from Asia with a single cargo load) or Used Cargo Worthy condition — Used units are certified for global transport based on the condition of the doors, floor, walls, and ceiling, and may show dents, rust, or corroded paint while remaining leakproof. Customers exporting the container should purchase a Cargo Worthy or One-Trip unit along with a CSC Survey. Common uses include walk-in fridge or freezer conversions, ambient-controlled storage, catering and event cooling, seasonal overflow cold storage, florists, and temporary cold storage during renovations.

Can I write this purchase off as a business expense?
