Full Description
A header plate — sometimes called a top end rail — is required only when installing a 7-foot-wide roll-up door in place of a container's original cargo doors. It caps off the top of the roll-up door opening and protects the door's roll-up barrel from the weather, keeping rain and moisture from getting into the container. Installation is by welding the plate to the top and side of the container. If you're removing your cargo doors and fitting a 7-foot roll-up door, this plate is a required part of that conversion.
