This is a Carrier Transicold PowerLINE 69UG15-050S-55 undermount generator set — Series 55, built for continuous, unattended operation of refrigerated containers transported by road or rail in regions that require EU Stage V emissions compliance. It carries the CE mark, verifying that its 18.5 kW, 2.2-liter diesel engine (V2203-DI) meets Europe's Stage V nonroad mobile machinery emissions standard for carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, particulate matter, and nitrogen oxides. The unit pairs the engine with a 15 kW custom-designed permanent-magnet generator using a single-winding, contactless architecture for reduced complexity. Carrier's FuelWise two-speed system is standard, running the engine at 1,500 rpm (50 Hz) under light load and switching automatically to 1,800 rpm (60 Hz) as refrigeration demand increases. This delivers fuel savings of up to 34% versus units without FuelWise — about 6% better than earlier PowerLINE generations that had FuelWise as an add-on. The unit ships with a 189-liter standard fuel tank (113-liter and 258-liter options are available), a full-flow spin-on oil filter with internal bypass filtration, an integral fuel filter with water separator and fuel heater, an inline fuel strainer with a clear inspection bowl, a dry-element air cleaner (oil-bath optional), a self-tensioning Poly V belt, a stainless steel exhaust, and a patented E-coat tube-and-fin radiator. The frame and sheet metal are powder-coated for corrosion resistance, and mounting is via standard four-point hardware or Carrier's QuickMount system on request. Rated ambient operating range is -40°C to +52°C for structure and running, and -26°C to +52°C for starting. The genset weighs approximately 729 kg with its 189-liter integral steel tank, less fuel, and delivers a full 15 kW output to power ISO reefer containers. Each unit is load tested before it ships and is designed to mount to a variety of ISO container chassis, complete and ready to operate. Available in New and Used condition.
