Full Description

This is a Carrier Transicold PowerLINE 69UG15-068S-24 undermount generator set — Series 24, Carrier's newest undermount platform and the first in the PowerLINE lineup built for lifetime California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliance, with no future aftertreatment or emissions upgrades required. It's powered by a new 2-speed, 2.4-liter Kubota engine (V2403-CR-E4B) with common-rail fuel injection, which reduces particulate matter emissions and fuel consumption compared to earlier PowerLINE generations. A maintenance-free diesel oxidation catalyst further cuts hydrocarbon emissions, and the engine achieves its emissions targets without needing exhaust gas recirculation. Combined, these changes give the Series 24 a 96% reduction in particulate emissions versus prior PowerLINE units — Carrier's cleanest undermount genset to date — while remaining EPA Tier 4 compliant. The unit pairs this engine with the same ultra-high-efficiency 15 kW permanent-magnet generator platform used across the PowerLINE range, along with standard FuelWise two-speed functionality for fuel savings of up to 34% versus units without FuelWise. Standard equipment includes a 68-gallon steel fuel tank (50-gallon steel or aluminum, and 80-gallon aluminum tanks are available), a high-efficiency dry-element air cleaner, a full-flow spin-on oil filter with internal bypass, an integral fuel filter with water separator and fuel heater, a stainless steel exhaust and hardware, driver-side controls, a large aluminum service access door, a battery access door, forklift pockets accessible from either side, a 12V DC maintenance-free battery, and a powder-coated frame with a patented E-coat tube-and-fin radiator. Rated ambient operating range is -40°C to +52°C for structure and running, and -26°C to +52°C for starting. Weight is approximately 775 kg (1,664 lb) with the 68-gallon integral steel tank, less fuel. The genset is load tested before shipping and mounts to a variety of ISO container chassis in either clip-on (RG) or standard four-point undermount (UG) configuration, complete and ready to operate. Carrier's standard manufacturer warranty covers parts and components against defects in material or workmanship under normal use for two years from the date of shipment, or 27 months from the manufacture date, whichever comes first. Available in New and Used condition.
