The Thermo King SL-100e is a Diesel Direct Electric trailer refrigeration unit from the Precedent line, built around common-rail fuel injection that meets current emissions standards without requiring an expensive after-treatment system or diesel particulate filter (DPF). It carries CARB Evergreen certification, so it can keep running in California over the long haul without the DPF replacement costs that affect non-Evergreen units, while also meeting EPA requirements nationwide. An advanced condenser system with microchannel coils more than doubles surface area versus conventional designs, improving airflow and eliminating dead spots across the coil face. The SL-100e is available in single- and multi-temperature configurations, making it suitable for mixed loads as well as single-commodity runs. Optional ThermoLite solar panels help extend battery life, lower fuel consumption, and reduce emissions.
