Thermo King SB-230 Trailer Refrigeration System

The Thermo King SB-230 is a trailer refrigeration unit in Thermo King's SB-30 Series, built around the SR-3 controller — an upgrade from the SR-2 used on earlier SB models. The SR-3 adds a USB port on the exterior of the Human Machine Interface, so technicians can download, upload, and flash-load unit data with a standard USB drive preloaded with Thermo King's WinTrac software, without needing a laptop, cables, or opening any doors or panels. The unit is wireless-ready and can be upgraded to integrated wireless communications, including compatibility with Thermo King's TracKing telematics or third-party options. Standard equipment includes OptiSet Plus (with continuous run, modulation, CYCLE-SENTRY, and CYCLE-SENTRY with modulation modes, plus directional air delivery), a Smooth Air blower assembly, an EMI-3000 extended-maintenance system with a 5-micron filter, an exclusive fuel pre-filter, ServiceWatch and CargoWatch data logging, long-life coolant and silicone hoses, long-life composite exterior panels, an easy-access door design, a vibration isolation system, and a 50-gallon aluminum undermount fuel tank with a visual fuel-level gauge.
