The Thermo King SL-200 is a Diesel Direct Electric trailer refrigeration unit in the Precedent line, engineered for double-digit fuel savings versus older mechanical platforms. Common-rail fuel injection lets it meet current emissions standards without an expensive after-treatment system, and CARB Evergreen certification means it can keep running in California long-term without a diesel particulate filter (DPF), while also meeting EPA requirements elsewhere. Available in single- and multi-temperature configurations, the SL-200 suits both single-commodity and split loads. Optional ThermoLite solar panels extend battery life and cut fuel consumption and emissions, and the unit supports Bluetooth-enabled in-cab and in-yard monitoring so drivers and yard staff can track cargo temperature, alarms, and fuel status remotely.
