1 / 3Transformer 220v-440v
A 220V/440V 3-phase auto transformer weighing approximately 140 lbs, CEE-17 standard receptacle, ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 certified manufacturing.
Full Description
This modular transformer steps 220V power up to 440V, giving a shipping or refrigerated container dual-voltage capability without rewiring its existing electrical setup. It's built around an 8/4 SO cable with black rubber insulation rated to 60°C (140°F), and the transformer itself mounts to a plate or bracket for straightforward installation. A high-voltage receptacle and optional circuit breaker attach to the unit; the standard receptacle follows the CEE-17 design, though other receptacle types can be special-ordered. The transformer weighs approximately 63.5 kg (140 lbs). Field-installed kits are available both with a CB2 circuit breaker (part number 76-00670-00) and without one (part number 76-00670-02). This is a step-up transformer only — it raises voltage from 220V to 440V and isn't configured as a step-down unit.

Common Questions
How does the deposit and reservation process work?
A refundable deposit of up to $1,000 (or the item's full price if it's lower) holds this unit and locks the quoted price for 48–72 hours while we confirm availability and arrange delivery. If your order doesn't move forward, the deposit is fully refunded.
Do you deliver, and does it cost extra?
Yes, we deliver nationwide. Delivery is coordinated after reservation and quoted based on your location and the unit's size, so it isn't included in the listed price.
What's your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping and any related costs are the customer's responsibility.
Can I write this purchase off as a business expense?
Businesses may qualify to deduct the full purchase price in the year it's placed in service under Section 179, rather than depreciating it over several years. Rules and limits vary, so this isn't tax advice — talk to your accountant about your specific situation.
