1 / 8X2 2100R Refrigeration Units
A used Carrier Transicold X2 2100R diesel refrigeration unit, 2011-2012 model years, sold with a 6-month engine warranty.
Full Description
The Carrier Transicold X2 2100R is the rail/multi-modal version of the X2 Series single-temperature refrigeration unit, built on the original X-Series platform with updated aerodynamic styling, improved sound quality, and easier serviceability. It uses an Advance microprocessor with an integrated DataLink data recorder for temperature control logic and cooling-capacity management aimed at minimizing fuel use, and is powered by a Kubota diesel engine paired with a six-cylinder compressor. At a 35°F setpoint and 100°F ambient, the 2100R delivers 64,000 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. Condenser dimensions are 76.4″ x 85.7″ x 22.8″, evaporator dimensions are 66.3″ x 45.2″ x 8.2″, and the body opening is 66.8″ x 46.0″; the standard refrigerant is R-404A. Doors are molded from a high-strength composite for enhanced impact strength, light resistance, thermal stability, and heat resistance, and full-length side doors hinge at the trailer and open all the way to the top with a single latch per side; the front panels swing open from the center with a single latch. An aero-acoustic grille with wider openings, integrated door seals, recessed acoustic foam, a tuned engine intake system, and a V-Force vortex suppression fan keep noise down, with an optional Stealth noise-reduction package for further reduction. This model ships in the 2011–2012 year range with roughly 3,000–6,000 hours typical for used units in this listing, and is available in new and used condition. Used units are generally serviced with new belts, an oil change, and fresh filters, and go through a multi-point inspection by a reefer technician, with an LED remote indicator light fitted. An install kit — remote fuel tank and brackets, fuel lines, air chute, and bulkhead hardware — is available for units going into a new trailer.

Common Questions
How does the deposit and reservation process work?
A refundable deposit of up to $1,000 (or the item's full price if it's lower) holds this unit and locks the quoted price for 48–72 hours while we confirm availability and arrange delivery. If your order doesn't move forward, the deposit is fully refunded.
Do you deliver, and does it cost extra?
Yes, we deliver nationwide. Delivery is coordinated after reservation and quoted based on your location and the unit's size, so it isn't included in the listed price.
What's your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping and any related costs are the customer's responsibility.
Can I write this purchase off as a business expense?
Businesses may qualify to deduct the full purchase price in the year it's placed in service under Section 179, rather than depreciating it over several years. Rules and limits vary, so this isn't tax advice — talk to your accountant about your specific situation.
